The Guanajibo Innovation Center (GIC) is located at the Guanajibo Park in Mayagüez is the second PRIDCO building to be managed by PRTEC. PRTEC was approved a grant of $550,000 to work on the improvements needed in the building to make a "landing site" facility. The GIC will host two high tech tenants: Lockheed Martin and Mutual Link. PRTEC has an office in the building that will serve as PRIDCO's Office in the Region. This project represents a new model for innovation companies to start operation in the island, where PRIDCO approves the incentives package and PRTEC serves as project manager for the improvements and manages the facilities.
