We are PRTEC

The Puerto Rico TechnoEconomic Corridor (PRTEC) is a conglomerate of public and private entities with common economic and social interests, united to facilitate and enable Puerto Rico’s economic development.

PRTEC is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization committed to the development of a collaborative environment between private companies, government entities and academia. Continuous innovation, agility and collaboration are the core principles that guide PRTEC.

Vision: An ideal and particularly attractive environment that promotes innovation, development and commercialization in the global economy. 

Mission: Enable the economic development of Puerto Rico, with emphasis in the commercialization of new and innovative technologies.

Our Goals: 

•Help Puerto Rico become recognized as a center of high-tech excellence in the world

•Improve the quality of life of Puerto Rico’s residents by making it a better place for them to live and work

•Help create and retain existing jobs

•Attract new businesses
